A dinner in Montreal co-hosted by Maison Carlyle in celebration of our first trunkshow in Canada

When organizing a gathering, the tablesetting is, of course, one of the most important parts of the planning. The table should be designed around the season, occasion and mood you want to evoke. For our dinner in Montreal, we designed a table with fresh tones of greens to celebrate the Spring, yet not entirely Spring-y given that in Montreal it takes a bit longer for Spring to bloom (we were still wearing trenchcoats and shawls!). It was sort of a taste of Spring, but taking into account the end-of-winter mood...

We designed the table around Aquazzura Casa’s Secret Garden dinner and dessert plates, an exquisite collection that vividly represented the feelings of Spring. Inspired by chinoiserie, the plates feature whimsical botanic motifs in kelly green, with a delicate mint green background. The plates’ delicate scalloped edge are adorned with a golden rim, they are truly one of its kind.
We paired the dinnerware with our Panda flatware, Bilia glasses in white, and Zurbano napkins. Everything was pulled together with the exquisite Cosmo tablecloth in green in a custom size to fit perfectly on the table. P.S. we can do custom sizes for you as well!
The dinner happened at Maison Boulud, another of chef extraordinaire Daniel Boulud’s fabulous restaurants. The food was exquisite, and the desserts were ones to repeat!
Our guests laughed, shared stories, fell in love with the table and, most importantly, connected with one another. It was the warmest welcome to Montreal.
