Inside the World of Cabana
Cabana Magazine is often referred to as the 'haute couture' of publishing, and for a reason! Everything from the gorgeous fabrics that dress the book covers to the array of vibrant, thoughtful interiors featured, make sifting through these pages a memorable experience. The brand’s homeware line Casa Cabana, now available on Collecto, is the perfect addition to entertain in these gorgeous homes
Founded by Martina Mondadori in 2014, Cabana Magazine is a biannual design publication showcasing the most splendid of interiors from a curated selection of talented designers. Born and raised in Milan, Martina has print in her DNA—her great-grandfather founded the publishing company "Mondadori" back in 1907, nowadays the biggest in Italy. Inspired by Martina's exquisite taste and the vibrant spaces featured in the magazine, Casa Cabana was born. The collection includes a selection of tabletop and accent pieces handmade by local artisans using traditional crafting techniques.
Our founder Federika was drawn to the brand for its vibrant colors and lively prints, quintessential aspects of the Italian Aperitivo that has been part of her upbringing from her father. Aperitivos in Italy are quite a thing, and for a very good reason. They’re spontaneous, casual and feel like a change of pace, she says. And this is exactly what the Cabana brand embodies.
Whether you like hosting fabulous seated dinners, or effortless, aperitivo-style get togethers, the versatility of Cabana's pieces will encourage you to do both. This is also such a perfect brand for young couples looking for sophisticated yet laid back tableware for their new homes. P.S. Collecto is the first place couples can register for Cabana pieces for their wedding registries, and we are absolutely thrilled.

Known for exclusive collaborations with other fashion houses, Cabana has collaborated with a fabulous array of designers to create extraordinary collections. The Cabana x Carolina Herrera collection (pictured above) mimics most of what the fashion house is famous for—feminine details and vivid color palettes—inspired by Mrs. Herrera's Latin American background. The collection includes a curated selection of glassware, dinnerware and table linens that are an absolute dream.
We are thrilled for Cabana to be a part of the Collecto family. It really is a perfect match!
